I’m Francesca, founder of Bolgheri Wine Tours, where I create private, tailor-made wine experiences in Bolgheri and other renowned Italian wine regions. I hold the WSET Diploma, one of the most respected international wine certifications, and I believe deeply that wine is sharing — a gift that connects people to a place, its culture, and its people.

I was born and raised in Tuscany, surrounded by wonderful local food and wines. My grandfather was a farmer who made his own wine with the help of the family, and those childhood memories shaped my lifelong passion. Wine has always been part of my life.

My studies first took me abroad: I earned a degree in English Translation and Interpreting and later lived in Florida, where I obtained an AS Degree in Business Administration. But in 2015, I returned to my Tuscan roots and settled in Bolgheri, where I now combine my background, knowledge, and passion into guiding others through this extraordinary wine region.

This blog is a space where I share my personal wine journeys, the stories behind the labels, and the people and traditions that make each glass meaningful.
